Assistant Program Director


The Assistant Program Director (APD) position is a cottage-specific, entry-level management position designed to assist the cottage Program Director (PD) in the daily operations, programming, planning and implementation, staffing, and employee supervision of the cottage to which they are assigned.


The Assistant Program Director supports the mission of WFCDD by developing and maintaining a home environment that is responsive to each person’s likes and dislikes, goals, and needs, as well as supporting each person’s participation in the community. The Assistant Program Director models person-centered care, coaches staff, and offers education to families, guardians, and the community in order to help each person achieve their potential.


Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum Associates degree. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience in the ID/DD field, preferably with individuals with Cerebral Palsy.

Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professionals provide direct support while ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals with disabilities. They also assist in the areas of self-help, activities of daily living, and socialization.

Our DSPs are passionate about serving others and provide meaningful work in a variety of community and residential settings.

We have full time, part time, and on-call positions available.

WFC offers competitive pay and excellent benefits. The starting pay for this position is $10.50 per hour.

WFC is currently seeking FT and PRN nurses to join our health services team. We are hiring both LPN and RN.

WFC’s nurses provide for the health and well-being of individuals with disabilities in a person-centered environment.
